AmpVortex Web API
The AmpVortex Web API is designed to give developers, integrators, and advanced users full control over AmpVortex multi-room streaming amplifiers. Through a simple and standardized RESTful interface, the API makes it possible to manage devices, inputs, and zones programmatically — unlocking seamless integration with smart home systems, automation platforms, and third-party applications.
With the Web API, you can:
- Discover and manage devices– retrieve device IDs, hardware attributes, firmware versions, connection details, and system metrics.
- Control inputs– configure input types (AirPlay 2, Spotify, Google Cast, DLNA, USB, Analog, Optical, Bluetooth, ARC), adjust input volume, and map them to zones.
- Manage zones– enable or disable zones, adjust volume or EQ, mute/unmute, rename zones, and set active inputs for each zone.
- Remote operations– reboot devices, update Wi-Fi credentials, enable remote debugging, and monitor system health.
The API supports all AmpVortex-Series amplifiers, including:
- AmpVortex-16060 (-/A/G)
- AmpVortex-16100 (-/A/G)
- AmpVortex-16200 (-/A/G)
…and future AmpVortex devices in the same family.
By exposing these capabilities, the AmpVortex Web API ensures that your amplifier is not just powerful hardware, but also a flexible, developer-friendly platform that integrates into modern connected homes and professional AV environments.
