The AmpVortex P52.4 is a professional four-channel Class-D Commercial Amplifier designed for touring systems, live venues, stadiums, clubs and other demanding high-power audio applications. It delivers 4 × 1,300W at 8Ω, 4 × 2,600W at 4Ω and up to 4 × 2,900W at 2Ω.

Its advanced power architecture combines interleaved continuous-conduction-mode PFC technology with a high-efficiency LLC DC-DC converter, providing stable output, improved power utilization and reduced electromagnetic interference. A 384kHz sampling rate, 112dB(A) dynamic range and 0.05% typical THD+N ensure clean, detailed and powerful audio reproduction.

The P52.4 integrates PPS™ pulse-by-pulse overcurrent protection, ACL™ average-current limiting and DTS™ direct-touch thermal management for reliable operation under demanding loads. With professional status indicators, Neutrik® XLR and speakON® connectors, universal 100–240V AC input and efficient forced-air cooling, it is well suited for high-power loudspeaker and subwoofer systems.

It delivers a peak output voltage of 140V and a peak output current of 50A, with an efficiency of 92.1% at 8Ω.

Note: Power‑pool, native streaming and automation are not natively supported in P52.4.

Front panel description

P52.4 Front panel：

FAULT: Indicates that the amplifier has entered protection mode or a fault condition. Switch off the amplifier and contact your nearest authorized service center.
CLIP: Indicates output distortion caused by an excessive input signal or an incorrect load. Check the input signal level and connected load.
LOADING: Indicates that a load is connected. The indicator flashes according to the output level and begins operating at approximately 0.5W RMS.
OUTPUT: Indicates the amplifier’s output signal level. The indicator begins operating at approximately 1V RMS. If it remains off, the amplifier may be muted or not powered on.
SIGNAL: Indicates the input signal level, similar to a pre-fader meter on a mixing console. The indicator brightness varies with the signal level and begins operating at approximately 0.07V RMS.
A/B/C/D: Channel volume controls (gain controls), adjustable from -80dB to 0dB.
AC: The LED illuminates when the amplifier is connected to AC mains power, indicating that the internal circuitry is live. The LED turns off when the amplifier is switched on.
ON: Power-on indicator. The LED illuminates when the power cord is connected and the power switch is turned on, indicating that the amplifier is ready for operation.
POWER: Power switch.
Cooling Air Inlets: Do not block the air inlets. Clean and maintain them regularly to prevent overheating and thermal protection. On X Series amplifiers, the cooling air inlets are located in the center and on both sides of the front panel.
